Who We Are

Huddle Entertainment Group Inc. is a recording studio based in Atlanta, GA. Our business was established in 2015 by Ghaton Ross, who has more than 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Get to know him and meet the rest of our creative team on this page.

Meet Our Founder

Ghaton Ross is an American music producer, engineer, and entertainment business executive. He graduated cum laude from Kaplan University with a bachelor’s degree in technical communication, and he is a member of the Golden Key Society.

It was after he graduated that Mr. Ross began his own business. Huddle Entertainment Group Inc. is an umbrella that covers The Huddle Recording and Production Studios, Runman Records, and XTRAS Publishing Company. Mr. Ross is interested in helping young artists and musicians realize their dreams of being major recording artists. He has a passion for creating outlets for artists and producers to further their careers.

Mr. Ross spent several years teaching 6th grade English and coaching high school football after attending Indiana University on a football scholarship. With his background in music and sports, he truly believes that teamwork is the key to success with any project. He also says he has always been drawn to things that only a small percentage of people are willing to try, which speaks directly to his competitive nature.

As a child, Mr. Ross was involved in music. He taught himself how to play the drums at 8 years old and played in many bands and quartets. He fell in love with theatre in the 8th grade when he played the leading role in the school’s musical. He believes music, art, and entertainment are meant to bring people together. When you combine art and people, you have entertainment.

CEO Job Description

So many people are in awe of the CEO title without knowing exactly what a CEO is responsible for. As a CEO, I feel the immense pressure to drive the company in the direction set out in the mission statement and executive summary. For Huddle Entertainment Group Inc., I will be assuming the duties of the CEO.

I plan to stay on as CEO until the company is in a place where the board feels comfortable making that change. Ultimately, I would like to remain on the board and relinquish the CEO duties to a qualified candidate.

According to Investopedia, “A chief executive officer (CEO) is the highest-ranking executive in a company, and their primary responsibilities include making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of a company, and acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and corporate operations” (Staff, 2017).

As CEO I am responsible for the overall vision and plan for the company. As CEO of a startup, I am responsible for everything such as operations, marketing, financing, human resources, hiring, firing, strategy, sales, PR and whatever else is needed. I am responsible for reporting to the board and getting board approval. I am responsible for what gets paid and when.

Some of these things can be delegated but what cannot be delegated is building the senior management team, creating and being the culture of the company, and deciding where and when money gets spent as well as any regulatory or compliance issues ("What do CEOs do? A CEO Job Description.", 2017).

The direction, success or failure of the company is solely on my shoulders, and that’s the way I like it, for now.

I have been an independent business owner since 2010. I have worked in the music industry since 2005. I have owned my own label, recording studio, and publishing company since 2015. I graduated cum laude with a degree in technical communications and a master’s degree in entertainment business.

My real-world experience as a business owner has given me incredible insight to business, people, and finance and how they all intertwine. Music is a team effort and my willingness to let the team drive the success is one of the strengths that will continue to drive this company forward for years to come.
